Dodd(le)

 A smashing ride along the ridge north of Helvellyn, taking in Raise, and the Dodds.

Ascent was made from Glenridding Hostel up the well maintained path via Red Screes and Keppel Cove.  The route follows a high level traverse until Great Dodd is reached where great single track riding leads you over Matterdale Common towards Dockray.

The ride is best suited after dry weather as the correctly named (wet) Bruts Moss and Whams Moss have to be crossed.
